Consulting

We provide consulting services to architects, architectural design offices and anyone who wants to take their projects to the next level. The consulting service we provide starts from the first idea of an architectural project and continues through the planning phase to the implementation phase. We are always happy to share our ideas with you, whether by phone, email or, if you prefer, in person at our offices.

Plnning and Design

VOMET supports your project at every stage of the project implementation:  

• design and system development
• planning support

VOMET services are always customer-oriented and our specialists are actively involved in the entire process from the beginning. In addition to supplying standard products, we can also provide custom design of stainless steel mesh and stainless steel rope if your project requires it.

Static calculations

VOMET can provide structural static calculations for most of the stainless steel nets and ropes we supply, if required.

Our static analysis services include:

• system development
• shaping of stainless steel mesh and mesh structures
• dimensioning of mesh and rope loads
• calculation of additional loads

Production

After approval of the production drawings, we ensure fast and precise production. Each mesh part is manufactured according to the required dimensions, mesh direction and mesh ending. In the case of I-ROPE rope systems, attention is paid during production to measurements between the attachments and the load, overstrain resulting from static calculations.

Turnkey assembly from VOMET

According to customer preferences, we will provide turnkey installation, which is carried out by our experienced external installation team directly on site.

Electrogalvanizing 

Electrogalvanizing is particularly suitable for interiors where a thick layer of zinc is not required. In this process, a layer of zinc is electrolytically applied to the surface of the metal.

• Transparent (blue) passivation: Suitable for dry environments, serves a more decorative function.
• Thick-film passivation: High corrosion resistance, ideal for outdoor environments.

Application: Interior (transparent passivation), Exterior (thick-layer passivation)

Hot-dip galvanizing

This treatment creates a thick layer of zinc that provides high resistance to weather conditions and mechanical wear. The process involves immersing the steel in a hot zinc melt, creating a solid alloy of the two metals.

Application: Exterior, interior (as a design element)

Anodic oxidation of aluminum (anodizing)

Anodizing improves the properties of products made of aluminum and its alloys: corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, hardness and shine. The oxidized layer "grows" into the surface of the aluminum, becoming part of it. The surface can also be colored chemically, by penetrating the dye into the oxide layer.

Application: Exterior, interior (design)

Powder coating (Komaxit coating)

Komaxit coating allows color treatment of metals using electrostatically applied plastic, which aesthetically enhances the final product. For older metals, pretreatment (sandblasting, phosphating) is required to increase adhesion and corrosion resistance.

Application: Plain metal, galvanised and hot-dip galvanized metal
